Leeuwensteyn project

Leeuwensteyn was my first project at school, and it involved designing the interior for a residential house being built in Utrecht. The goal was to create an interior plan with a blend of Mid-Century and Art Deco styles, which required a careful balance between the clean lines and functionality of Mid-Century design with the luxurious, bold elements of Art Deco.

As my very first project, it was challenging to combine these styles effectively while keeping the space both practical and stylish for future residents. I had to think about furniture, color schemes, and decorative elements that would capture the essence of both design periods. It was a complex project, but it taught me a lot about mixing styles and thinking creatively to meet design requirements.

Rituals

RItual of sakura

My second project of the first year was with Rituals, focusing on their Ritual of Sakura line. For this assignment, we had to design a window display inspired by the theme of that line, but with a fresh and original twist. The goal was to capture the essence of the Ritual of Sakura while bringing a new perspective to the display. This project turned out really well, and we were all very proud of the final result. It felt rewarding to see our creative ideas come to life in a way that represented the brand beautifully.
